The First Kerala State Olympic Games in Rifle & Pistol Shooting is to be held on 7th & 8th of May 2022 at Vattiyoorkavu Shooting Ranges, Thiruvananthapuram. There will be an inauguration ceremony on 7th Morning and a closing ceremony on 8th Evening. Rifle Events will take place on 7th May and Pistol Events will be held on 8th May.

The ISSF World Cup Refile/Pistol, Cairo Egypt is scheduled to be held from February 26 to March 8.The ISSF World Cup Refile/Pistol, Cairo Egypt is scheduled to be held from February 26 to March 8.Due to covid conditions in India, the selection of teams for ISSF World Cup was picked after taking into consideration the qualification score along with final ranking points of the 64th National Championship Competition.

The National Rifle Association of India (NRAI) has terminated the contracts of all the 24 national junior and senior coaches.The federation’s decision is a follow-up of the review done a few weeks ago. NRAI had decided not to renew contracts of their foreign coaches, Smirnov Pavel (pistol) and Oleg Mikhailov (rifle) after the Tokyo Games. TOI tried to speak to a few coaches, but no one was willing to talk about the mail.
